"When Garrison Keillor is in town, I often take some theatre person to be his guest," Fisher told Playbill.com. "I was on with Deb Monk [recently]. I'm going to play for Kristin, who'll sing a couple of songs from her new album."

Also on the broadcast will be the Brooklyn harmony group The DiGiallonardo Sisters, who will be on Fisher's "Lyrics and Lyricists" concert program in the spring. (Nadia DiGiallonardo was the conductor for the recent Hair.)

Fisher is former music director of the City Center Encores! concert series, and a busy Broadway, recording and concert music director/supervisor. His current Broadway credits include Chicago and Anything Goes. He'll step into the pit of the latter Dec. 15-22 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

The last time Fisher physically conducted in a Broadway pit was The Apple Tree in 2006 at Studio 54. "Anything Goes is the first Broadway show I've supervised without ever conducting and I'm fixing that," he said about his fill-in appearance.

The two-hour-long radio show hosted by Keillor will also feature the Royal Academy of Radio Actors, Tim Russell, Sue Scott, Fred Newman, The Guy's All-Star Shoe Band and the latest news from Lake Wobegon.
