The Miranda Theatre Company presents Adam Seidel’s new play Williston October 26–November 10 at the IATI Theatre.

Directed by Miranda Theatre Company Artistic Director Valentina Fratti, the new play launches the company's POP UP Production, a series offering a variety of limited engagements at venues throughout New York City.

Tony nominee and MCC Artistic Director Robert LuPone stars along with Kate Grimes (Orange is the New Black) and Drew Ledbetter (Love & Everything in Between).

The play is set in 2013, the peak of the domestic energy boom. Operating out of a single wide trailer, two leasing reps have made a trip to Williston, North Dakota, to secure rights to land belonging to a man known as “Indian Jim,” a Native American infamous for his resistance to the oil community. Compounding this already delicate situation is the arrival of a third team member, a young analyst eager to get his feet wet in the field.

The limited engagement also has scenic and lighting design by Graham Kindred, costume design by Matsy Stinson, and sound design by Margaret Montagna.
