Here's how TUTS bills the musical: "Curtains follows the unraveling of a theatre company on opening night shortly after the leading actress is knocked off. Detective Frank Cioffi, a musical theatre fan, takes on the case only to find himself dealing with theatrical egos and eccentricities, deceit, a rising body count and a budding love affair – all while sticking to the golden rule of show business: the show must go on."

Curtains will have choreography by JoAnne Hunter, musical direction by Tom Helm, scenic design by Robert Kovach, lighting design by Charlie Morrison and sound design by Kit Bond. Curtains premiered on Broadway in 2007. The musical has a score by John Kander and lyrics by his late collaborator, Fred Ebb. Rupert Holmes penned the book and additional lyrics for the musical. The late Peter Stone authored the original book. The production starred David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba and Jason Daniely.
