Classic Arts News Rochester Philharmonic Completes 10-Year, $10 Million Endowment Drive The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra has met its $10 million goal for an endowment drive launched in December 1999, reports the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

The New Century Campaign was initiated to strengthen the financial base of the RPO, whose 2005-06 operating budget was $9 million, and generate income for operating expenses. The RPO's endowment pool (of which the campaign was part) now totals $19.5 million and yields $1 million annually for operations, according to the paper.
