News Rodolfo, the Red-Nosed Reindeer? Bway Bohemians Offer Carol on "Today" Dec. 24 The bohemians who sing, struggle and fall in love on Christmas Eve in acts one and two of Broadway's La Bohème, will appear on NBC's "Today" the morning of Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, to share a holiday song.

The opera's musical director Constantine Kitsopoulos will lead the six principals — three Mimis and three Rodolfos, who perform in rep every week at the Broadway Theatre — in singing "The First Noel."

The piano-and-voice appearance by Lisa Hopkins, Wei Huang, Ekaterina Solovyeva, Alfred Boe, Jesús Garcia and David Miller is expected about 8:30 AM (ET). Check local listings for time and channel in your area.

The troupers of the Baz Luhrmann revival of the Puccini opera sing in Italian every night, though hip, multiple-font English surtitles are provided. Their TV carol, one guesses, will be in English.
