News Ron Rifkin and Brian d'Arcy James Among Guest Stars for Upcoming "SVU" Season Tony Award winner Ron Rifkin (Cabaret) and two-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James (Shrek, "Smash") are among the actors who will guest star on the upcoming season of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," according to EW.com.

Rifkin and James will guest in an episode titled "Producer's Backend," which is slated to air in October and also feature Hoda Kotb, Stevie Lynn Jones and Dana Wheeler-Nicholson.

Rifkin will reprise his role as Counselor Marvin Exley, who's representing Tensley (Jones), a Hollywood starlet in trouble with the law. James will guest star as a top-level producer, known for giving Tensley and a score of other famous teens their big break.

"Law & Order: SVU" will return Sept. 24 at 9 PM ET on NBC. Visit NBC.com.
