In a masterpiece of timing, Rory Bremner (aided by the two Johns, Bird and Fortune), brings his television show onto the stage with a press night on Oct. 2.
Given that the Prime Minister — Bremner's best-known subject — gave his keynote address at the Labour Party's Blackpool conference yesterday and is all over the papers today, the press night will have the maximum possible topicality as Bremner launches yet another superb imitation of Tony Blair.
The Albery is well suited to his show, being large enough to be commercially viable yet small enough for the intimacy needed for Bremner's performance.
