News Rosemary Ashe, Leanne Jones, Helen Hobson and More to Celebrate Work of Dorothy Fields in London A cast of West End principals will celebrate the work of Dorothy Fields in a new revue The Sunny Side of the Street that will begin performances at London's Jermyn Street Theatre June 19, prior to an official opening June 21, for a run through July 7.

The company features Rosemary Ashe (the original Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera, most recently seen in When We Are Married at the Garrick Theatre), Olivier Award winner Leanne Jones (the original West End Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray), Helen Hobson (Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia!), Jane Milligan (Return to the Forbidden Planet) and Shona White (Wicked, the recent tour of Chess).

The show is directed by Tim McArthur, with musical direction and arrangements by Tony winner Sarah Travis (Sweeney Todd on Broadway), additional staging by Phil Aiden and sets and costumes by David Shields.

Fields (1904 to 1974) worked as a lyricist and book writer with the finest composers in theatre and film including Jerome Kern, Cy Coleman, Irving Berlin and Harold Arlen. Her repertoire of over 400 songs for Broadway musicals and films include the numerous hits from Sweet Charity as well as "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," "A Fine Romance" and "The Way You Look Tonight."

The show is the third revue produced by Jermyn Street Theatre and directed by McArthur that celebrates the work of a chosen writer, following previous celebrations of Rodgers and Hart in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered and the less-familiar repertoire of Stephen Sondheim in Classic Moments, Hidden Treasures.
