Post-matinee discussions between cast members and their respective audiences will take place March 14 on three New York stages. The program is part of a Roundabout educational outreach called "Page to Stage."
The participating shows are Design for Living at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W. 42 St.), Follies at the Belasco (111 W. 44 St.), and A Skull in Connemara at the Gramercy Theatre (127 E. 23 St.).
The simultaneous post-show discussions will gegin at 4:45 (exact times may vary) and will be "led by the actors of the play." The talks will include audience participation from "500 students from Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island and Queens." The final determination as to which artists will speak has not been announced. As of March 13, the selection of participating Follies cast members had not been completed.
According to a Roundabout statement, Page to Stage is in its ninth season and "reaches approximately 4,000 students in the tri-state public schools who have limited access to the arts, and in particular, to theatre."
