To avoid a conflict with the April 13 opening of the Public Theater production of The Wild Party, The Roundabout Theatre Company has changed the opening of Uncle Vanya by one week, moving it to April 20. The new April 20 opening date for Vanya also adds a week to the construction schedule for the massive restoration of the Selwyn Theatre, Roundabout's new home.
"Everything's on schedule," a Roundabout spokesperson told Playbill On Line, "but this gives us a bit of a cushion."
