T.J. Dawson directs a cast that features Rufus Bonds, Jr. (as Coalhouse Walker Jr.), Craig McEldowney (as Father), Tyler MicLean (Younger Brother), Gary Patent (as Tateh), Daebreon Poiema (as Sarah), Christanna Rowader (as Mother), Brooke Besikof (as Little Girl), Jimmer Bolden (as Booker T. Washington), John McCool Bowers (as J.P. Morgan), Gary Brintz (as Harry Houdini), Doug Carfrae (as Grandfather), Jeanette Dawson (as Evelyn Nesbit), Jean Kauffman (as Emma Goldman), Donovan McFann (as Little Boy), William Shaffner (as Willie Conklin), Amber J. Snead (as Sarah’s friend) and Robert Yacko (as Henry Ford).

The ensemble comprises Nick Adorno, Marliss Amiea, Brandon Armstrong, Patrick Batiste, Remmie Bourgeois, Brandon Burks, James Campbell, Matthew Carvin, Michael Coleman, Chanel Edwards-Frédérick, Desiree Gillespie, Jenna Gillespie, Devon Hadsell, Joshua Hamilton, Jimmy Hippenstiel, Melinda Koen, David Lynn, Melanie Mockobey, Julie Morgentaler, Tracy Rowe Mutz, Dino Nicandros, Sharie Nitkin, Brandon Pohl, Kirklyn Robinson, Natalie Sachse, Kim Taylor, Christine Tucker and Josh Wise.

Ragtime is based on the landmark E. L. Doctorow novel and features a Tony Award-winning score by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty and a book by Terrence McNally.

"This powerful portrait of turn-of-the-century America," press notes state, "intertwines the stories of three diverse families as they confront history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, and hope and despair, against a background of historical celebrities like Henry Ford, Emma Goldman, Harry Houdini, Evelyn Nesbit, J.P. Morgan and Booker T. Washington." The creative and production teams also include music director Julie Lamoureux, choreographer Dana Solimando, assistant choreographer Esteven Valdez, co-producer and director of advertising Gretchen Dawson, co-producers Daniel Dawson and Jeanette Dawson, lighting designer Jean-Yves Tessier, sound designer Julie Ferrin, costume coordinator Karen Fix Curry, production stage manager Nicole Wessel, assistant production stage manager and assistant rehearsal stage manager Terry Hanrahan (Redondo Beach), company manager and assistant rehearsal stage manager David Jordan Nestor (Fullerton), artistic coordinator Amber Snead and associate box office manager Jennifer Nelson.
