The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) plans two rallies in succession beginning at 11 AM, Sept, 13. Actors will join a "parade" between the two locations in what is billed as the union's "National Day of Action Against GM." The first will be outside BBD&O Advertising at 1285 Avenue of the Americas between 51 and 52 Streets. The second will take place at General Motor's nearby New York office.

General Motors persuaded golf star Tiger Woods to cross the SAG picket line in its five-month-old strike against the producers of commercials for broadcast. Earlier in the strike, the union heralded Woods as a hero when he refused to cross the line to film a Nike ad in the New York area.
