PlayBlog Sam Gold Discusses Directing LCT3's The Coward (Video) Obie Award-winning director Sam Gold recently sat down at Lincoln Center for a chat about The Coward, Nick Jones' 18th-century-set comedy that he will soon be directing for LCT3.

Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation) talks about his reaction to the play, which focuses on a young gentleman who initiates a pistol duel, decides he can't go through with it and hires a common criminal to fight in his place. Jeremy Strong and Christopher Evan Welch will lead a cast featuring Steven Boyer, Jarlath Conroy, John Patrick Dougherty, Stephen Ellis, Richard Poe and Kristen Schaal.
