Presented at 7 PM, Public Theater veteran Waterston (King Lear, Hamlet) will read some of the Bard's sonnets as part of an evening that will also feature commentary from Shapiro, novelist Téa Obreht and book critic Kathryn Schulz.
The event, which celebrates Shakespeare's birthday (on April 23), will offer insight to the Bard's inspirations, his work and its relationship to contemporary culture.
