David Marshall Grant's comedy Snakebit ends its West Coast premiere at San Francisco's New Conservatory Theatre Center March 24 . Frequent Pride Season helmer Arturo Catricala (The Lisbon Traviata, Visiting Mr. Green) directs.

The young threesome of Snakebit are Jonathan, Michael and Jennifer. Jonathan and Jennifer are married and have a daughter, while Michael and Jonathan have been best friends for years. When their child sickens with a mysterious undiagnosable illness, however, Jennifer begins to suspect that her one night fling with Michael, who is gay, gave her daughter AIDS. In this frame of mind, she arrives at Michael's home, under the pretense of supporting Jonathan in his bid for the lead in a big budget movie.

Snakebit was Marshall Grant's first play. He is best known as an actor - he was Tony Award-nominated for playing Joe, the Mormon husband in Angels in America.
