LOS ANGELES -- What would happen if eight kids one day decided not to grow up?

The answer is contained in Adults, Keep Out!, a musical for the whole family playing for two performances only at the Santa Monica Playhouse on Sun. April 19 at 1 & 3 PM.

Written by the award-winning team of Evelyn Rudie and Chris DeCarlo, the show is set in Glimmermore, "the land where anything goes, but not everyone can." Presented by the Actors Repertory Theatre, the resident professional company at Santa Monica Playhouse, the cast includes James Cooper, Rachel Galper, Cheryl Jennings, Kym Johnson, Cydne Moore, Heather Ross and John Warhoff, with guest artist Robert Jacopino of the Young Professional's Company.

The production, which had its European premiere in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1992, is directed by co-artistic director Rudie with words and music by Rudie and Matt Wrather. It is performed in The Other Space, the new performance space at the Playhouse, 1211 Fourth St. in Santa Monica. Tickets are $10. Call (310) 394-9779 ext. 1.
