Concord Theatrical Recordings has released a studio cast recording of the new musical The Big Time, featuring music and lyrics by Douglas J. Cohen (No Way to Treat a Lady) and a book by Douglas Carter Beane (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella). The album is available to stream and download here.

Set at the height of the Cold War, the musical centers on a pair of lounge singers who must use their singing, dancing, and comedy talents to save the day after Russian spies take over a cruise liner.

Santino Fontana and Debbie Gravitte lead the cast as Tony and Donna Stevenitti. The recording also features Raymond Bokhour as Mimke, Bradley Dean as Big Apple, Jackie Hoffman as Grusha, Michael McCormick as Leader Residu and Morty, Diane Phelan as Undersecretary Penelope Briggs-Hopkins, and Will Swenson as Pavlov Pushkart.

The album features orchestrations by August Eriksmoen, additional arrangements by Noah Landis, music direction by Eric Stern, music coordination by Bryan Cook, and music preparation by Michael Pacifico and Jonathan Bauerfeld.

The band includes Tony Kadleck, Manuel Ruiz, Scott Wendholt, Brian Pareschi, Jason DeBord, Dave Phillips, Sean McDaniel, Sara Jacovino, Jason Jackson, Jen Hinkle, Jack Schatz, Steve Kenyon, Bryan Cook, Scott Kreitzer, Alden Banta, and Mark Thrasher.

Eriksmoen and Cohen produced, with Ian Kagey handling recording and mixing and Oscar Zambrano mastering. The album logo and digital booklet are designed by Michael Thomas Holmes.
