Broadway favorite Santino Fontana (Cinderella; Hello, Dolly!) will appear on an episode of Support For This Podcast, a comedic improvisatory podcast that features mockumentary-style interviews.

Fontana's episode is set to debut October 1, the day after the Tony nominee will have celebrated the opening night of Tootsie in Chicago. Based on the film of the same name, Tootsie stars Fontana as struggling actor Michael Dorsey and is scheduled to open on Broadway in April.

Support For This Podcast, described as "the very popular, very buzzy interview show all of your on-trend friends are already listening to," turns the Fresh Air interview format on its head with Christopher Guest-inspired improv.

Now in its second season, the podcast was co-created by Ryan Langer and Fontana's wife, Jessica Fontana, who hosts as alter-ego Emily Amy Lauren Becca.

A recent episode featured Andrea Martin—soon to be back on Broadway opposite Nathan Lane in Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus—as Martina Andrews, a 71-year-old mother who has never shopped online.
