After two months´ in Sao Paulo, and a well-received appearance at The 1996 Curitiba Festival, Forever, by Maria Adelaide Amaral opens at The Joao Caetano Theatre in Rio de Janeiro, July 24. Vivien Buckup directs.
Veteran actor Paulo Autran plays Max, an intellectual professor and recognized writer, who hides his loneliness behind his cultural background and his social position. Celso Frateshi plays Tony, an ordinary and superficial young man; Karin Rodrigues plays Eva, a charming and intelligent designer in her 50s, as the Max´s best friend.
The play creates this "love triangle" talking about love, homosexual and heterosexual relationships, cultural differences and physical atraction.
The production also has other famous names like Gringo Cardia (set design), Fabio Nanatame (lighting design), and Maneco Quindere (costume design).
