Gavin Creel, most recently on Broadway as Dr. Pomatter opposite Sara Bareilles in Waitress, will perform in concert June 17 at 92Y.
The Hello, Dolly! star will be joined by Waitress composer Bareilles as his special guest. Show time is 7:30 PM.
Creel will pay homage to the American musical songbook and recreate songs from his Broadway career, which includes his Tony and Drama Desk Award–winning role in Dolly!, Waitress, Thoroughly Modern Millie (Tony nomination), La Cage Aux Folles, Hair (Tony nomination), The Book of Mormon, and She Loves Me. Creel also garnered an Olivier Award for his performance in The Book of Mormon in London.
