News Say Nothing Opens at U.K.'s Barbican

David Woods and Jon Hough, the creative team behind award-winning theatre company Ridiculusmus, bring the full-length version of their Belfast show to the Barbican for the first time, opening Dec. 5 for a run that lasts until Jan. 4, 2003.

Say Nothing is a bleak but very funny take on the Northern Ireland Peace Process, given Ridiculusmus' characteristically zany take on world events.

The pair make a highly effective and entertaining theatrical double-act (not unlike the Right Size), and their regular fans will be following the yellow brick road (the sign thoughtfully provided by Judy Garland-loving officials at the Corporation of London) that leads the way through the labyrinth of the Barbican to the Barbican Theatre, where Say Nothing will be staged.

Fans will have a double treat at the weekends, when Ridiculusmus stage Yes, Yes, Yes, a late-night (9:30 PM) show giving their own comic take on the state of the world.
