News Say You Love Satan Is the Ultimate Boyfriend-From-Hell Story, in FringeNYC, Aug. 8-23 Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's "gay demonic romantic comedy," Say You Love Satan, directed by Claire Lundberg, gets its Manhattan premiere Aug. 8-23 as part of the New York International Fringe Festival at UNDER St. Marks, 94 St. Marks Place.

"Late one rainy night in Baltimore," production notes say, "Andrew meets a handsome stranger named Jack. The two start dating, despite the fact that Jack has the Mark of the Beast—you know, 666—burned into his forehead. Intrigued-slash-slightly apprehensive, Andrew slowly—and hilariously—starts to realize that the man of his dreams might actually be the Devil's only living son. That, or something far, far worse…truly a boyfriend of the damned."

Say You Love Satan has played Atlanta, Washington, DC, New Haven and Montreal.

Award-winning playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's The Mystery Plays will be produced by Off Broadway's Second Stage Theatre in spring 2004. He's a recent graduate of the Yale School of Drama playwriting program.

Say You Love Satan is directed by Claire Lundberg, who most recently directed Polly Draper’s Getting Into Heaven at The Flea Theater. It features sets by Wilson Chin, costumes by Jenny Mannis, lights by Scott Bolman, sound by Fitz Patton, and a cast that includes Jonny Corporate, Courtney Dickerson, Greg Felden, John Patrick Higgins, Matthew Humphreys, Joe LaRue and Edward O'Blenis.
