Stephanie Wiand's new play, Scenes Through the Bathroom Window, will be given its world premiere by the Eclectic Company Theatre Jan. 27 - March 11 at its NoHo base. Director Christine Devereaux has cast ten women in the comedy, which takes place in a women's powder room where the characters meet to "escape, unwind, deal with loss or guilt or look for closure."Jacquelyn Levy, a gospel/jazz singer, will function as a kind of one-woman Greek Chorus, providing the connections between scenes and characters. She will be joined by the following actresses: Rachel Babcock, Allison Barcott, Jennifer Dean, Gillian Doyle, Janie Freedman, Mary Gallagher, Jenni O'Rourke, Darcy Shean and Elaine Steelman. The technical staff numbers Craig Shepherd (set); Bryan Schulte (lights); John P. Kivlen (stage manager); David T. Jonke (tech director); and producers Carrie Armstrong and Wiand.
