News Scenes Through the Bathroom Window Premieres Jan. 27 in L.A. Stephanie Wiand's new play, Scenes Through the Bathroom Window, will be given its world premiere by the Eclectic Company Theatre Jan. 27 - March 11 at its NoHo base. Director Christine Devereaux has cast ten women in the comedy, which takes place in a women's powder room where the characters meet to "escape, unwind, deal with loss or guilt or look for closure."

Stephanie Wiand's new play, Scenes Through the Bathroom Window, will be given its world premiere by the Eclectic Company Theatre Jan. 27 - March 11 at its NoHo base. Director Christine Devereaux has cast ten women in the comedy, which takes place in a women's powder room where the characters meet to "escape, unwind, deal with loss or guilt or look for closure."Jacquelyn Levy, a gospel/jazz singer, will function as a kind of one-woman Greek Chorus, providing the connections between scenes and characters. She will be joined by the following actresses: Rachel Babcock, Allison Barcott, Jennifer Dean, Gillian Doyle, Janie Freedman, Mary Gallagher, Jenni O'Rourke, Darcy Shean and Elaine Steelman. The technical staff numbers Craig Shepherd (set); Bryan Schulte (lights); John P. Kivlen (stage manager); David T. Jonke (tech director); and producers Carrie Armstrong and Wiand.
