News Schaffel, Kind, Reinders and More Sing Gordon Songs at Joe's Pub Oct. 15 A host of theatre favorites will celebrate the songs of Paul Gordon, who was nominated for a 2001 Tony for his score to Jane Eyre, Oct. 15 at Joe's Pub.

The artists scheduled to lend their voices to the songs of Gordon include Melissa Dye, Sara Farb, Richard Kind, Jason Kravits, Travis Poelle, Marla Schaffel, Jennifer Waiser, Brian d'Arcy James, Kate Reinders, Jayne Paterson, Sarah Litzsinger and Lianne Marie Dobbs. Composer Gordon will also be part of the 9:30 PM concert. The evening will feature direction by Nell Balaban with musical direction by Laura Bergquist. Jayson Raitt produces.

Gordon's Emma is currently being presented by TheatreWorks at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts in Palo Alto, CA. Daddy-Long-Legs, a collaboration with director John Caird, will be part of the Festival of New American Music Theater in Los Angeles in 2008. And Gordon's The Front, based on the 1976 film, is scheduled for a production in 2008.
