Two of science fiction legend Ray Bradbury's shorter plays will be staged by HSA Production at NYC's Blue Heron Arts Center, June 22-July 11. Flight! is an evening of theatre consisting of two short Bradbury pieces: The Flying Machine is set in China, circa 400 AD, where Emperor Yuan discovers that one of his subjects has invented a machine which gives men flight; Kaleidoscope takes place in the future where a group of astronauts are involved in a special outer space mission.
The cast for Flight includes: Arthur Atkinson, Russell Bennett, Marina Celander, Katherine Irvine, Jonathan MacQueen, Michael Shawn Montgomery, Jocelyn Rose and Cheryl E. Simone. Hilary Adams will direct both shows.
