News Scott Alan Plays London Starting Tonight; Barcelona Is Next Acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan, composer of the musicals Detour and the forthcoming Home, offers a solo concert May 3 at the U.K.'s St. James Theatre.

Alan will be joined by a cast of over 20 surprise guest performers. Show time is 6:30 PM.

The composer-lyricist will also offer three concerts May 4-6, at London's St. James Studios, where he will be joined by The Color Purple’s Cynthia ErivoAlthough the London concerts are sold out, Alan will also be offering a master class May 6 at noon. Click here for more information.

Alan will then make his Barcelona debut May 11. Titled Scott Alan: Barcelona & Friends, the 9 PM concert, under the artistic direction of Daniel Anglès, will be held at L’Auditori in Barcelona. Alan will be joined by numerous special guests.

Attendees can expect to hear tunes from the composer's six albums as well as his upcoming West End musical Home.

Alan's songs have been recorded by Shoshana Bean, Kerry Ellis, Eden Espinosa, Samantha Barks, Liz Callaway and Stephanie J. Block, among many others. Some of his many recordings include "Keys," "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" and "LIVE."
