But before that, the actors who star as the title characters will be Tony Award presenters June 11.

No announcement has been made about their replacements. A national tour of the musical launches in August in Seattle.

Pryce stepped into the David Yazbek-Jeffrey Lane musical comedy at the Imperial Theatre in January, earning solid reviews for replacing John Lithgow as smooth Lawrence Jameson. Butz won the 2005 Tony Award for playing the more crass of the two con men, Freddy.

Butz is shooting a film the week of June 5, and will likely miss some performances, a spokesman said, but he is not expected to be out all week.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels also features Rachel York, Sara Gettelfinger, Gregory Jbara and Lucie Arnaz.
