News Screen Actors Guild Awards Held Jan. 18; Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, James Gandolfini and Jim Parsons Nominated The 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are presented Jan. 18 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.

The nominees were announced Dec. 11, 2013, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

Tony and Oscar winner Judi Dench was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for "Philomena," and Oscar winner and Tony nominee Tom Hanks received a Leading Actor nomination for his performance in "Captain Phillips." Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, both Oscar winners, received Leading and Supporting Actress nominations, respectively, for their roles in "August: Osage County," the film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning play. Tony nominee Edie Falco was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for "Nurse Jackie," and Tony and Oscar winner Maggie Smith received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her performance on "Downton Abbey."
