According to BAM, "The mythology surrounding the Greek character of Persephone—the beautiful and doomed daughter of Zeus and Demeter who was abducted by Hades into the Underworld—is explored through songs, narrative, projections, and instrumental music, all performed in the style of a 19th-century theatrical production."
Persephone will have films by Bill Morrison, projections by Laurie Olinder, sets by Jim Findlay, lights by John Ambrosone, costumes by Jane Alois Stein and sound design by Jamie McElhinney. Daniel Zippi and Karl Precoda are dramaturges. For tickets visit BAM.
