Cloud 9 Productions (in association with Seattle Theatre Project) has a hit on its hands with Maripat Donovan (a.k.a. Sister) bringing in the crowds to see her in the role she created, the one-woman show Late Nite Catechism. Originally set to run through April 12, the comedy is now extending through May 31.

The Seattle Times hailed the production, saying "Donovan is so charismatic and such a terrific storyteller that this is a great entertainment for all faiths."

The setting is a Catholic school classroom, and, with the audience as her class, Sister makes sure that if you came in without knowing about the Trinity, the Holy Ghost, The Saints, Heaven, Hell or Purgatory, you'll know by the time you go home -- or know the back side of her ruler!

Late Nite Catechism is performed at The Covenant Church, 400 East Pike on Capitol Hill. Performances are Thurs.-Sat. evenings at 8 PM, Sundays at 7 PM, with matinees Sat. and Sun. at 2 PM.
