Seattle Rep will continue their year-long celebration of Noel Coward's Centenary with a production of his Design for Living, opening March 22 for a run through April 18.

It's 1933 and three fast friends -- Otto, a painter, Gilda, an interior decorator, and Leo, a playwright -- are living the bohemian artist lifestyle in Paris. Gilda attempts a conventional relationship with each man but always finds something lacking and ends up betraying Otto with Leo and vice versa. Although bruised by their shifts in fortune, Leo and Otto find their own relationship as irresistible as always and discover their love for Gilda also endures. The two set off to rescue Gilda from her cold marriage, to bring her into a three-way marriage with them.

The cast for Design for Living includes: Mark Chamberlin, Francesca Farinday, Jared Reed, Jeff Woodman, Hans P. Altwies, Sarah Brooke, Grace Torrence, Larry Paulsen, Shelley Reynolds. Directing the show is Seattle Rep affiliate artist, Stephen Wadsworth with set design is by Kevin Rupnick, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, and lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski.
