News Sebastian Arcelus, Derrick Baskin Join Lisa Howard on William Finn CD; Concert Guests Also Announced Lisa Howard, who made her Broadway debut in William Finn’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will celebrate the release of her upcoming new CD with a concert at Birdland April 11 at 7 PM.

Howard’s new CD, “Songs of Innocence & Experience: The Music of William Finn," will be available on the Ghostlight Records label beginning April 12 on iTunes, Amazon.com and in stores.

Howard is backed by a 14-piece band led by music director Vadim Feichtner and a team of vocalists. Derrick Baskin, her Spelling Bee co-star, and Elf The Musical's Sebastian Arcelus join her for duets.

In her upcoming concert, Howard will also pay tribute to the artistry of the Finn songbook with a full band led by musical director Feichtner. Audiences can expect to hear such Finn staples such as “Infinite Joy,” “Sailing," and “I Have Found," among others.

Howard will be joined on stage at Birdland by special guests Tituss Burgess, Jessica Snow Wilson and Derrick Baskin. Her backup vocalists will include Michael Lowney, Paul Lessard, Ethan Paulini, James Sasser, Beth Eunice, Victoria Huston-Elem, Betsy Werbel and Gaelen Gilliland.

Howard has also appeared on Broadway in South Pacific and 9 to 5, and will make her feature film debut in the upcoming "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."
