Photos See Erich Bergen Take His First Bow in Broadway's Waitress The Madam Secretary and Jersey Boys star took on the role of Dr. Pomatter June 5.

Erich Bergen made his Broadway debut in Waitress, taking on the role of Dr. Pomatter at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, June 5 for a run through August 12. He assumes the role from original star Drew Gehling, who will go on to head the cast of the upcoming world premiere of Dave.

Bergen previously appeared in the national tour and Las Vegas productions of Jersey Boys, playing Bob Gaudio. He went on to reprise his performance in the 2014 film adaptation. He can currently be seen as Blake Moran on CBS’ Madam Secretary.
