See Girls & Boys, Starring Carey Mulligan, Celebrate Off-Broadway Premiere

Dennis Kelly's monologue Girls & Boys, starring Carey Mulligan, celebrated its Off-Broadway debut at the Minetta Lane Theatre June 20.

Following a series of cancellations and schedule changes after Mulligan sustained a minor injury during a performance, the production will officially open June 27.

The play, from London's Royal Court, tells the story of a wife and mother whose world has taken a disturbing turn. The production is directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner (Chimerica, Posh) and is produced by Audible, which will release Mulligan's performance as an audio play June 27.

The show began previews June 12 and is scheduled through July 22.
