See Kelli O'Hara, in Pantaloons, Throw Down and Do "The Worm" Backstage at King and I! (Video) | Playbill

News See Kelli O'Hara, in Pantaloons, Throw Down and Do "The Worm" Backstage at King and I! (Video) Upon winning the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for The King and I June 7, Kelli O'Hara gave an acceptance speech capped by a promise that she would do "The Worm."

Instead, however, she exited the Radio City Music Hall stage vaudeville style, doing a buck-and-wing.

But now, in true star style, she has delivered.

Apparently not wanting to either disappoint her fans or ruin her beautiful Tony night dress, O'Hara went back to her dressing room at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, stripped to her Victorian-era underwear and did the dance move that involves laying on the floor and moving the body in a caterpillar-like wave.

Here is the video. Her Twitter comment was "So this had to happen tonight. Couldn't do it wearing Oscar de la Renta. Ladies and gents. The worm. W/thanks."
