The "Spring & Summer" Cabaret did not include songs from Spring Awakening itself, which is headed for a Broadway revival this September. According to production notes, "Audiences can expect to hear a variety of different musical styles and some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the actors' time with the show."
The concert included Broadway and tour actors Krystina Alabado, Christy Altomare, Julie Benko, Justin Scott Brown, Amanda Castaños, Anthony Lee Medina, Zach Reiner-Harris, Claire Sparks, Taylor Trensch and Gabe Violett.
Joining them were actors from this fall's revival, including Katie Boeck (Voice of Wendla), Alex Boniello (Voice of Moritz), Daniel Durant (Moritz), Sandra Mae Frank (Wendla), Kathryn Gallagher (Voice of Martha), Sean Grandillo (Voice of Otto), Austin McKenzie (Melchior), Ali Stroker (Anna) and Alexandra Winter (Gretl).
Charity Wicks was musical director. Shoshana Feinstein was producer.
