Akhtar's play Junk is preparing a Broadway bow, while Hnath'sA Doll’s House, Part 2, received acclaimed runs on Broadway.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the “Mimi” Awards, which are presented annually to honor the outstanding artistry and accomplishments of some of the most gifted American playwrights. Each recipient receives a cash award of $50,000.
Exploring the story of the real-life British military operation which helped turn the tide of World War II, Operation Mincemeat plays London's Fortune Theatre.
