The immersive Off-Broadway staging of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street celebrated one year at the Barrow Street Theatre March 1. The production, which currently stars Thom Sesma and Sally Ann Triplett as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett, was recently extended through August 26.
The show continues its record-breaking run as the longest-running musical ever to play the Barrow Street Theatre.

Directed by Bill Buckhurst, The Tooting Arts Club’s immersive production completely transformed into a working pie shop for the show, with theatregoers encouraged to dine in the theatre prior to the performance.
Sweeney Todd features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond.
