Hudson Stage Company, Westchester's premiere professional theatre, is currently presenting the American premiere of Francois Archambault’s You Will Remember Me, which has been translated by Bobby Theodore.
Hudson Stage Company co-founder Dan Foster directs the production, which features movement by Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck and continues through October 29 in Armonk, NY.
Here’s how it’s billed: “How will you be remembered? How will you choose to remember those you love? As the aging patriarch of a modern family- a university professor, political and intellectual force, and long-time sovereignist - suffers from dementia, the people who love him struggle to make room in their lives for his care.”
The cast features John Hutton, Susan Pellegrino, Susannah Schulman Rogers, Ella Dershowitz, and Chris Kipiniak.
The production has scenery by Steven Kemp, lighting by Andrew Gmoser, costumes by Charlotte Palmer-Lane, and sound by William Neal with stage management by Katie Kavett. Producers are Denise Bessette and Olivia Sklar.
The play premiered in French (Tu te Souviendras de moi) in Montreal in 2014 at La Licorne. It received its English premiere in Calgary, Alberta. Recent productions include Vancouver and Toronto.
