Titanic, directed by Serenbe Playhouse's Artistic Director Brian Clowdus, runs July 11–August 19 at the Georgia venue. Clowdus collaborates with scenic designer Adam Koch, who designed Carousel and Miss Saigon for Serenbe, to create a production that incorporates an actual sinking of the luxury liner each night. “We have a concept that allows the entire production to rise from the water. It’s a huge undertaking, but the concept brings a human scale to it as well.” The Tony Award-winning musical features music by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone.

Located 30 miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia, Serenbe Playhouse operates within the the 40,000-acre community of Serenbe, a progressive new model for community living centered around organic farming and environmental sustainability located in Georgia’s Chattahoochee Hill Country. Homes are built to have little environmental impact, and more than 70 percent of Serenbe’s land is protected as green space.

The creative team also includes choreographer Bubba Carr, scenic designer Adam Koch, music director Chris Brent Davis, production manager Joel Coady, costume designer Alan Yeong, lighting designer Kevin Frazier, sound designer Bobby Johnson, and props designer Christopher Dills.
