Rickman, Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater exited the play following the April 1 matinee at the Golden Theatre. Lister-Jones succeeds Rabe as Kate, who organizes the group, and Long succeeds Linklater as unsure writer Martin.
Hettienne Park and Jerry O'Connell ("Stand By Me," "The Defenders") continue in roles they created — Izzy and Douglas, respectively. Sam Gold (The Big Meal, Look Back in Anger) directs.
The new quintet is set to play eight weeks, from April 3 through May 27.
Pulitzer Prize finalist and Peabody Award winner Theresa Rebeck also wrote the plays Mauritius, The Scene, The Understudy and Omnium Gatherum (among many others), was an "NYPD Blue" writer and created the NBC series "Smash." Read more about Seminar in the Playbill Vault.
