News Sequel to Queen Musical We Will Rock You in the Works The creative team behind the long-running West End musical We Will Rock You are at work on a sequel to the production that using the songs of the rock band Queen for its score.

Queen band member Bryan May posted on his blog April 13 that a two-week workshop had been completed for what he described as We Will Rock You II -TSMGO, likely referencing the Queen song "The Show Must Go On." May is pictured along with book writer-director Ben Elton and cast members from the workshop. 

The London production of the musical will end its run May 31 at the Dominion Theatre after a 12-year run. We Will Rock You is currently on a U.S. national tour, which launched in October 2013.

We Will Rock You has book and direction by Elton, music and music supervision by Queen/Roger Taylor and May.

The show has also now been performed in 28 countries around the globe, and has been seen by more than 16 million people.
