News Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley Will Host Post-Show Talkbacks at TX Premiere of Unbroken Circle The Texas premiere of Unbroken Circle, the family drama by James Wesley, will be presented at the Woodlawn Theatre in San Antonio.

The production will run Sept. 25-Oct. 5.

Here's how the show is billed: "Set in 1970 Galveston, Texas, a family is brought together for the first time in years on the day of its patriarch’s funeral. As the day turns into night, the impact of the man on his family unfolds in surprising ways leaving each member grappling with the truth. The drama is at times hilarious and disturbing as it explores how family secrets affect every person in each generation differently."

Sirius XM Radio host Seth Rudetsky, who co-produced the show Off-Broadway, will host a talkback following the 7:30 PM performance Sept. 25. The talkback features playwright Wesley, and his and Rudetsky's daughter Juli, who played father and daughter in the New York production of Unbroken Circle.

Rudetsky says the discussion will include the biographical nature of the play (parts were based on Wesley's extended Texas family) as well as what it's like for Wesley and Juli to play father and daughter on stage. "In other words, how many times backstage James had to tell Juli to turn off her iPad."

Wesley will host a similar talkback following the 7:30 PM performance Sept. 26. The talkback will feature representatives from Child Safe San Antonio, an organization dedicated to providing expert care for abused children.

Throughout the run, autographed posters and scripts of Unbroken Circle will be sold with Wesley donating the proceeds to Child Safe.

The Woodlawn Theatre is located at 1920 Fredericksburg Road. Tickets and more information are available by calling (210) 267-8388 or visiting woodlawntheatre.org.
