News Seven Brides, Spamalot, 42nd Street on Pittsburgh CLO Slate in 2006 Pittsburgh CLO's summer 2006 season will boast a variety of resident and touring shows, including a new staging of Grease and a visit by the tour of Monty Python's Spamalot.

Van Kaplan is executive producer of CLO, which presents in the Benedum Center.

The 2006 Season will open June 6, 2006, with Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which plays to June 18.

The '50s-flavored musical, Grease, plays June 20-30.

The tap-happy 42nd Street follows, July 4-16.

A visit by the tour of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers will be seen July 18-23. The revised version of the Broadway musical (itself a version of the popular M-G-M film) played Goodspeed Musicals in 2005. Book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, music by Gene de Paul and new songs by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn.

The new touring production of Broadway's Bombay Dreams, composed by A. R. Rahman, lyrics by Don Black and book by Meera Syal and Thomas Meehan, plays Aug. 1-6. Set among India's slums and is film industry, the show "is the story of a handsome young actor who dreams of fame and romance."

The national tour of Monty Python's Spamalot plays Sept. 19-Oct. 1.
