News Sex, Drugs, Clinton & Me to Play Off-Broadway's Kraine Theater Sex, Drugs, Clinton & Me, a one-man play written and performed by former Bill Clinton presidential campaign employee and White House volunteer Michael Evans, will begin performances at the Kraine Theater Oct. 14.

Directed by Kimothy Cruse, performances will continue through Nov. 25.

The play, according to press notes, is described as such: "A man steals a credential, sneaks into the White House, and while there gets a job working as a volunteer, before becoming a homeless heroin addict, going to prison, and getting clean."

Billed as "a true story," the monologue will be performed Spalding-Gray style, combining "stories from Evans' wild sex and drug filled experiences on the first Bill Clinton presidential campaign with scenes of his homelessness and prison time, interwoven with powerful and poignant readings from Evans' deceased mother's diary. It correlates the rush of drugs with the rush of political power."

Mike Evans has appeared in the films "The Last Party," "Natural Born Killers," "The War Room" and "Feed." He was elected as a delegate at every stage of the 1992 presidential campaign. He then began a ten-year history of drug addiction, homelessness and prison. He got clean in 2004.

Show times are Tuesdays at 8 PM. The Kraine Theater is located at 85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery in New York City. Tickets, priced $15, are available by visiting www.Smarttix.com or by calling (212) 868-4444.
