Hoffman recently appeared in the Richard Greenberg-scribed half of Drama Dept.'s double-bill, The Author's Voice, but reached critical acclaim for his movie roles in the independent films "Happiness" and "Boogie Nights." Aside from Voice, Hoffman has appeared in numerous New York productions, including Shopping and Fucking, and Defying Gravity.

Adly-Guirgis' Arabia is set amidst the current "new and improved" antiseptic Times Square, where alcoholic hookers, crackheads and gigolos meet to drink, talk, and have sex -- all trying to find their way to the next day. Adly-Guirgis is also the author of Boom Boom Boom Boom, Den of Thieves, and Moonlight Mile).
