SFX Entertainment, Inc., which has made headlines in the past few months with a highly publicized, estimated $1 billion acquisition program of sports and entertainment groups, may be looking to make another move.

This time, the news involves the relocation and combining of SFX's offices from 650 Madison Avenue and 150 East 58th Street to West 42nd Street, next door to Disney's New Amsterdam Theatre.

A New York Post report by Braden Keil last week said that Robert Sillerman's sprawling corporation was negotiating to rent the entire Candler Building on West 42nd Street. Details of that story could not be verified.

Playbill On-Line has learned that SFX is keeping tight lipped about the possible move and that no internal announcement has been made -- even SFX staff are unsure of the details.

"We have no comment," an SFX spokesperson told Playbill On Line. SFX does control the Ford Center for the Performing Arts located across from the Candler building on West 42nd Street.
