In a Feb. 11 statement, SFX Entertainment announced a long-term agreement with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for the exclusive rights to promote "contemporary music performances" at the 25,000-seat amphitheater.

Located in Saratoga Springs, New York, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, SPAC, will become one of the 122 international venues in the greater SFX network.

As reported earlier, SFX develops and manages touring Broadway shows, and sells Broadway subscription series and individual productions in 55 markets. An integrated franchise that promotes and produces a broad variety of live entertainment events locally, regionally and nationally, SFX also owns or operates venues in 31 of the top 50 domestic markets.

While the performing arts center has hosted the New York City Ballet, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Saratoga Chamber Music Festival and Freihofer's Jazz Festival, SFX will bring "a broader spectrum of events and increased activity by virtue of its music presentations," according to a company statement.
