News Shakespeare in the Park's Comedy of Errors, With Hamish Linklater and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Begins May 28 The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of The Comedy of Errors, starring Hamish Linklater and Jesse Tyler Ferguson as twins Antipholus and Dromio, begins previews May 28 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

Daniel Sullivan (The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night) directs the 90-minute, intermissionless staging of Comedy of Errors, which launches the Shakespeare in the Park summer season at the Delacorte. It will officially open June 18 for a run through June 30.

The Public has also announced a change in the 2013 Shakespeare in the Park performance schedule. All performances for The Comedy of Errors and Love's Labour's Lost (which starts July 23) begin at 8:30 PM. Both productions have a 90-minute running time.

In addition to Linklater ("The New Adventures of Old Christine," The Vandal, Seminar) and Ferguson ("Modern Family," On the Town) as Dromio and Antipholus, respectively, the cast includes J. Clint Allen (ensemble), de’Adre Aziza (Courtesan), Becky Ann Baker (Emilia), Emily Bergl (Adriana), Keith Eric Chappelle (Balthasar), Robert Creighton (Angelo), Reggie Gowland (ensemble), Jonathan Hadary (Egeon/Pinch), Bryan Langlitz (ensemble), Heidi Schreck (Luciana), Skipp Sudduth (Duke/Luce) and Jessica Wu (ensemble).

Also featured are Tyler Caffall, Reed Campbell, Brian T. Lawton, Michael McArthur, Rachel McMullin, Natalie Woolams-Torres and Adrienne Weidert.

Comedy of Errors has scenic design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, sound design by Acme Sound Partners, original music by Greg Pliska and choreography by Mimi Leiber. Tickets to Shakespeare in the Park are free and are distributed, two per person, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park beginning at noon the day of the show. The Public Theater is again offering free tickets through its Virtual Ticketing lottery at shakespeareinthepark.org on the day of the show.

The Delacorte Theater in Central Park is accessible by entering at 81st Street and Central Park West or at 79th Street and Fifth Avenue.
