Helmed by Cody Haefner, HamletGhosts plays through Aug. 5 as part of the SubletSeries@HERE, a curated rental program which offers artists subsidized space to develop new work.

According to The Brewing Dept., the show invites audiences to experience the "emotional guts" of Hamlet, minus "the messy plot," forcing them to "question their own complicity in the acts of madness and violence played out in front of them."

HamletGhosts has been developed over the last 18 months over two previous workshops prior to this full production. The cast features Claudia Givings, Alex Hare, Julia Izumi, Emily Kaplan, Kaitlin Kaufman, Jake Lasser, Olivia Levine, Theo Maltz and Matthew McShane.

Rebecca Clark assistant directs this production. Tech direction and sound are by Jess Malcolm; costume design is by Ilana Breitman.
